2023 User Summit-Limit dates on expiring credit cards
- Limit dates on expiring credit cards:
I started it running with these parameters. It took 3 minutes to run and returned the first screen below here:(pic 1)
You can see the first line expired in October 2021, the others in 2022. There are 84 entries, of which only 16 expire in November 2023. To unselect one requires 2 clicks on the check box; one to select the box, another to uncheck it. It would be great if the report only returned the ones that actually expire in November 2023 and ignore the prior months.(PIC 2)

Meter Change Report
Meter change report – To allow the meter changeout report to include the old and new meter number and reading. Currently the report only provides the old meter information, so we must pull another report and do a comparison with the account numbers to get the new meter information. Also including the removal reason in the changeout report. Being able to properly track the reason why our meters are being changed is very important, so that we can determine if a specific brand or make of meters should be re-purchased. Customers on ACH and on Payment Arrangement
It would be helpful if the Auto Draft would be able to pull the arrangement amount which includes the current amount due. Right now, a customer needs to either remove their Auto Draft information or we must go in and manually (remember to) change the amount that should be drafted each month. See the attachment. There also needs to be a way for there to be a one-time payment, like the $100.00 only, in the arrangement since they must pay something.
Example:
If the bill was $600.00 due 12/15, and their arraignment was that they would

character and space count totals
Since the bill form tends to have limited space for a company, location, and/or customer note, it would be nice if those screens included a total entered character and space count on it so we can see what number we are up to while we are working rather than hopping back and forth between UMS and Word or Notepad++ to tally up characters and spaces.

Street number sorting in searches
I would love to see the street numbers (house/ address number part of address) in street address sort numerically as in 1,2,3,..10,11,12,..21,22,23...30,31...100,101, etc. instead of 1,10,100,...2,20,200,2001,21,22, etc. so that we can see true order of addresses when searching. Thank you! :)

Allow line breaks in message communications
When composing an email, allow line breaks between the message's paragraphs, like they appear when sending out messages through the Customer Contact Wizard. As it is right now, no matter how you format the message, it is delivered as one paragraph. See attached example.

Delinquency Notice
When creating our IVR call for delinquency notices, we have the option for IVR and SMS Text. It would be nice to have the option to send emails as well.

budget
I would like to have an "As Of" report that would show how much a customer or range of customers are either ahead or behind on their Budget Billing plan. I know it can be seen on an individual customer's account history, but for our audit we would like to see totals so that we can come to a Deferred/Unearned Revenue balance. If it ever were to come a day to close the business, how do we know how much is owed or due from customers?

Add Merge Field for Community Phone Number

Please add a merge field for Community Phone Number - for use in Message Templates, etc.
The current alternative is to maintain duplicates of each template for each Community, with Community info inserted statically, which is not feasible for 23 Communities.
Merge Field parity between Company and Community would be ideal, but Community Phone Number is currently the most pressing omission.

Multiple E-Bill Templates
Setup -> Configure E-bill
For the most part, we send out the same e-bill with the same verbiage each billing cycle. However, twice a year, we have to edit our e-bill to include verbiage about our water quality reports. Because we have (3) different districts, we have to edit our e-bill configuration (3) times. Rather than editing our e-bill verbiage, we would like a way to save multiple e-bill templates. That way, we can just pick which e-bill we would like to send.

Add Alert to Clear Readings before Model Changes
Add an alert/error message in UMS >> Manage Installations. When a user is editing an inventory item to "Change Model" on the device if unbilled meter readings/usage exist the users will not see all models available in UMS. It would be helpful to have an alert displayed instructing the user to CLEAR ALL readings from the meter to see available models.

multiple autopay options for the customer
A customer should be able to determine if they want weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly autopays drafted either for the full bill amount or partial bill amount. It would work wonders for collections if they had an autopay option that aligned with the customers' needs. Right now we control the draft and the only clean way to do it is to offer once per month. Using location codes is not a clean way to do this. It should be controlled by the customer from the payment portal and less of a manual process on our end.

Rework Disallowed Payment Methods
We have a customer we would like to disallow online credit card and online check payments for. However, after check marking those methods in the attached screen, the customers is still able to make payments using those payment methods online. It does not keep the customer from being able to make their payment. It only leaves the payment "stuck in Gateway." And then our office either has to refund or import the payment and notify the customer. If the customer attempts to make a disallowed payment, they should receive an error message stating so, and to contact our office.

2023 User Summit-Security Overhaul
- Currently in setting up security roles there is a large majority of UMS that can be delegated as far as being able to view vs edit vs delete and such. But currently there are a VAST amount of small functions that only the role of an Administrator has the ability to manipulate, even if the function is only to view a certain section of the control panel. I would love to have some of these small functions but able to be delegated in security roles. Ill give an example. On a customer account if you want a CSR to be…

Enrollment in AutoPayment via the IVR
We would like to have the ability for our customers to enroll in Auto Payment via credit card or ACH via IVR Tech and for this to be part of the normal voice script whenever someone makes a one-time payment via the IVR. This to me would reduce late payments and the expense surrounding them.

Prevent Duplicate Electronic Payments on CWP
We have had so many customers call us to say that they accidently paid twice by credit card. To limit duplicate payments of the same amount in the payment portal, without disabling the ability of those owners who do pay bills online for multiple properties that are billed on a flat rate basis, I am requesting that the UMS portal does one of two things (or both).
1. Rather than connect the payment to the Customer Number when it is being paid, connect it to the Location Number. Then we could switch the "don't allow duplicate payment" button, without prohibiting…12 votes -

Automatic Website Maintenance Mode
We would like to be able to have our website go into maintenance mode every evening 15 before and after our batches settles. This would help immensely with reconciliation and customers who pay right when our batches close.We know there is a way to manually do it every single day, but we would like for it to be automatic.

The ability to turn the code filter option to an AND statement instead of an OR statement when reporting on multiple UDC codes.
