Normalization of address entries
When users input addresses in UMS, the addresses are sometimes incorrect or incomplete.
Any chance you could implement the normalization of address entries into UMS and UB4?6 votes -
Customer Contact Wizard Sequence Number
Customer Contact wizard to add sequence number to "Sort Order" as an option. Due to not the whole route needing to be notified of a leak for example, sequence number "Sort Order" would be easier to inform all the customers whom it affects without having to put in all the streets or removing everyone that it doesn't affect.

Add date created/ tran date to financial reporting to reconcile numbers across reports
When running reporting in UMS, it is difficult to match numbers. We found that the transaction list runs off of transaction date but the customer payment history report uses both. We would like the option to use date created and tran date on ALL financial reporting. The most important report at this time would be the transaction list.

Apply Taxes Based on Taxing Authority and Rate Code - Not Just Rate Code
We currently have 6 different taxing authorities which requires us to maintain 7 different sets of rate codes. This means we have well over 200 rate codes. If taxes could be applied based on the combination of taxing authority and rate codes, we would only need to deal with 30-40 rate codes.

Create Owner/Renter Report
There are no "RENTAL" reports in UMS that reflect both the renter and owner information. Specifically, we want a report that shows the information in the "Owner" tab of UMS, and the corresponding renter information:
- Renter customer number
- Renter name
- Renter mailing address
- Owner customer number
- Owner name
- Owner mailing address
- Location number
- Location address

Add Payment Reversals to Customer Payment History Report.
Program Payment Reversal code into this report so I can balance this report to the Payconnex settlement. There is no audit trail, and I must manually adjust and notate it was a reversal. I uploaded an example. I did print a transaction report for Payment Reversal, but it needs to be included in the total on the Customer Payment History Report.

Leave a note on the account after sending email using Customer Contact Wizard
Either leave a note on file after sending an email from the Customer Contact Wizard, or at least leave a record of the email that was sent. I know this was suggested before, but just wanted to reiterate it.

hide the zeros at the front of customer account number in the customer email they receive
The customer is confused about what their account number is when they see all the zeros in front of their account number in the email.

Add Account Status Filter/Sort to Delinquency Register Report
During the 2025 User Group, feedback was provided that while UMS currently allows filtering by Account Status (Custom Account Status from Setup >> Account Status) on the Create Delinquency screen, this option is not available on the Delinquency Register Report. Utilities, including Northshore, rely on the Account Status flag during delinquency processes. Adding the ability to filter or sort by Account Status on the Delinquency Register would allow users to:
Quickly identify which accounts require delinquency actions.
Make the process more granular and streamlined.
Improve operational efficiency by aligning reporting with existing delinquency workflows.

Be able to change the Mail From: section
Be able to add more emails to the Mail From: section to include other shared mailboxes. It would be nice if there was a drop-down where you could select different shared mailboxes (collections, customer service, billing, etc.)

delete purge old customer data, history, re-use number
I would like the option and ability to select customers to remove/ delete after a period of inactivity that I choose such as 5 years, 10 years, etc. It would not affect Location notes, data, items specific to location, would not affect meter changes/ data but would delete that specific customer's financial history and make their customer number now available for use. - for customers that move away and never return, for instance; their data taking up space. My desire would be that this is a manual task I would elect to do every 5 years. It would be great…

disallowed payments by location and/or customer instead of just customer with expiration
Function for disallowed payments by location instead of by customer (or if we could do customer and/or location). For example a landlord has mulitple locations, but only one location is not allowed to pay by check. Also an expriation date for each disallowed payment type.

IVR to Confirm Address
We would like the IVR to confirm the customers address after entering their account numbers. Example: acct# 2356 for the IVR to say you are paying the bill for 123 Barndoor Rd. is this correct? We have customers paying the wrong accounts. all the time because they do not know the correct account number.

meter report scheduled task
i have to export the meter list report in order to update another piece of software manually. i'd like to set up a scehduled task for it, but it is not an option. honestly, all of our regular reporting should be able to be set to be a scheduled task.

budget billing reconciliation automated report
I would like the budget billing reconciliation report to have an automated option where it sends it to my email as a pdf on the first of each month. Other reports are able to be handled by the scheduled task, I'd like this to be included.

Fix CWP for customers with multilple accounts.
Currently, according to tech support, the buggy behavior around having multiple accounts linked is described as "expected". It certainly isn't expected by our customers. If the user can't change which of their accounts they are viewing and have that stand when they try to scroll back to older pages of account history, then there should not be the option of linking multiple accounts.

Make the Audit History Report available for all users
The Audit History Report has been a useful tool. It would be nice if this report was available to all users as long as you had the permissions for this given to you. Admins set up the permissions in UMS and it would be nice to allow some users who are not UMS admins to have access to this.

All capital letters for the parcel number
Can be changed or an option added to have the parcel number in the location tab, only be entered as capital letters? When the parcel number is entered with lowercase letters by mistake, it conflicts with some of our programs that use this information.
