  1. PRINT UPDATED BILL

    there needs to be away to print updated bills. If a customer has made a payment on a bill that has a remaining balance there should be away to print an updated bill showing the payment and new balance. Also, if we have to make an adjustment on an account there should be away to print an updated bill after an adjustment has been made. We could print updated bill in CBSW after payments or adjustments have been made. Would really love for this to be added to UB4.

  2. Mass Customer Contact Filter & Import Options

    UB4 already supports Customer Contact Wizard for targeted communication campaigns, including multi-channel messaging (Email, SMS, & IVR notifications). However, the current targeting relies on filters like service cycles, routes, and custom User Code criteria—not direct account imports. This request is to propose adding the ability to import a CSV file of Account Numbers to target for Informational Messages, similar to functionality available in UMS.   5. Omnisearch Default Setting

    In The UB4 software, OmniSearch. Since we do searches primarily by customer number, and not a general search option, I suggest that the Customer Number be the first thing to look for as a default setting. But it seems a general search is default and when you enter a customer number to search for, you have to select CustomerNumber, and you have to do that for every number you search for. I think the search options should be selectable by the client in client settings. Can we make this happen?

  6. Password Requirements

    When customers are creating new account usernames and passwords, it should pop up and tell them what the requirements are for those items (i.e.- length, upper case, lower case, a number, etc.)

  7. batch management numbers and amounts

    on the batch management screen, there are two boxes for the total and the number of transactions, but those boxes never generate data. You have to open the details to see what is in that batch. It would be great if it would populate as entries are put into a batch or at the very minimum when the batch is posted.

  8. Add Notification Options to Backflow Testing Schedule Report

    Add a notification toggle for options to send eMail/IVR/SMS notifications to the Backflow Testing Schedule Report, modeled after the Emergency Contact Report. This enhancement would enable utilities to send electronic notifications and/or reminder notifications for device testing when test are upcoming, due, or past due. This would aid in improving communication and compliance with customers.

  9. Edit of unposted payment on account screen - doesn't let you change from cash to check

    I went to edit an unposted payment. Wanted to change it from CASH to CHECK. Even though it gives you the option when you click on the black drop down arrow to switch it from cash to check, it doesn’t let you save it. You must delete the unposted payment and repost it.

    My suggestion it..... Since the black drop down arrow is already there and you CAN switch it back and forth from cash to check, Why not allow you to just SAVE it. Why is the black drop down arrow even there if you can't do it?

  10. Graph should be based on water usage history

    Because our company only meters water it would be better if the graph on the statement and on the UB4 account screen we should be able to pick what to show on the graph and it would be nice if when you hovered over the dots that is pops up the usage related to the dot.

  11. Shut off letter

    I would like to mail/ email shut off letters the property owner. I only have the option for customer or contacts. That would mean I would have to enter the property owner as a contact too (double entry).
    Also, I would like the entry of a new contact to be less steps. If they have a customer number we should be able to enter that.

  12. Emergency Contact List - Limit search

    Currently the emergency contact list only allows you to search by street. Having the ability to narrow that search down to a certain range of house numbers (ex: 2010 - 2026) would be helpful because the notification would only be sent to the affected customers instead of the entire street.

  13. adding services in the location tab

    When adding services in the location tab it takes a really long time. In CBSW you could add everything very quickly. In UB4 you have to wait 10 seconds for things to load and then wait for them to add, get back to the location screen and add another service and then wait again and continue this over and over until all the services have been added. When setting up new locations this is very time consuming compared to the amount of time it took in CBSW.

  15. final bill date

    create a column on reports that includes customers with "final Status" that shows their final bill date. For example, when doing open balance reports, it would be easier to see it right on there rather than having to run another report or look at the account to see hold long the account has been closed and not paid.

  16. One click to print receipt

    Printing a physical receipt requires an unnecessary amount of clicks compared to CBSW. The expected behavior is to click print and have it print at the receipt printer as that is their dedicated printer. Instead, I am taken to a print preview screen, I have to select the correct printer, and hit print. Perhaps the ability to assign default printers to specific reports would be a way to add this functionality while also allowing other users the option to utilize it or not.

  18. Portal Template Messages

    We received an email from a customer stating that she received an email when we updated/changed her mailing address. So making the simplest of changes like spelling out DRIVE would generate an email. I understand that this function was set up for transparency but it causes confusion for the customer and generates unnecessary phones calls or emails from the customer. It would be nice if each template had an on/off function added to it.

  19. when on the payment screen, need to be able to go directly to the customers account without having to search it again.

    Currently if you're on the payment screen for a particular account and for some reason if you need to go to their account screen there needs to be a button to click on to take you directly there. Right now there isn't. You have to search it which takes extra steps.

    Having an option to take you right to their account screen would be huge!!

  20. would like less clicks of tab button on the payment screen after entering check number

    After you enter the check number on the payment screen and hit TAB, it would be nice if it would go directly to the green PAY button to post the payment. Instead you have hit the tab button 4 times just to get to the green PAY button.
    Suggestion: What would be really nice is, after you enter the check number you can just hit the enter button on the key board and than it would take you to the green PAY button and you can hit the enter button again. For me that would make it a smoother flow.
