Normalization of address entries
When users input addresses in UMS, the addresses are sometimes incorrect or incomplete.
Any chance you could implement the normalization of address entries into UMS and UB4?

We get a list from our Bill Printer that they run through the USPS database, and we can use that if we have to, but most of the time, we wait on the mail to be returned.
On the other hand, I understand how critical this is for us because the USPS sometimes does not send return mail in a timely manner. Right now, bills are high due to the freeze, so it is up to us to make sure our customers are getting their bills.

This would really help with mailings and the reporting function in UMS.

Incorrect data can add hours to processes in correcting and updating customer information. Normalization is critical and will help streamline any future billing or mailings.
Thanks!

Ideally, this would be done using something like a USPS API that standardizes addresses.
Users enter addresses inconsistently, with different abbreviations, placing directionals sometimes as a prefix, sometimes as a suffix. The inconsistencies prevent the programmatic elimination of duplicates and the grouping of related addresses.
