  1. Automated E-Billing & Autopay Incentive Feature

    This proposal requests the development of a new, touchless software feature designed to automatically reward customers who enroll in both E-Billing (paperless) and Autopay.

    By creating a method for zero staff touchpoints we would be able to maximize the cost savings to our customers and provide a larger incentive (statement credit). That proivdes us the opportunity for boosting customer loyalty to our most efficient customers.

    The feaure would have 3 steps;
    1. Capture ebill (no paper) customers' company number, account number, and location number (the requirements of a mass add/mass adjustment),

  3. Make IVR payments labeled as made through IVR system, not as Online Credit Card payments

    IVR payments should be noted as being made through IVR system on customer's transaction history instead of labeled as online credit card payments made through guestpay so if there is an issue with a payment, you can differentiate how payment was made.

  4. disallowed payments by location and/or customer instead of just customer with expiration

    Function for disallowed payments by location instead of by customer (or if we could do customer and/or location). For example a landlord has mulitple locations, but only one location is not allowed to pay by check. Also an expriation date for each disallowed payment type.

  5. Autopay Fixed Amount Improvements

    An autopay option that will allow a fixed amount, but would also allow the entire balance to be drafted if the bill is higher than the fixed amount.

    Our customer has her draft set up with a fixed amount of $75, but since it was less than the bill amount, it only drafted the $75.

    She likes to keep a credit on her account, and her balance is typically lower, but due to the lower temperatures we had in this billing period and the fuel adjustment cost, her bill was almost $200.

  6. Break Out Delinquencies in Communication Preferences

    Our organization currently utilizes the system’s Communication Preferences functionality to manage automated notifications related to customer delinquencies. At present, the system defaults all delinquency-related notifications to a single, unified communication preference setting, which is robocall. This creates challenges when we attempt to tailor communications based on the stage or severity of the delinquency.

    Current Process: We run penalties and send out corresponding penalty notices.
    Separately, we process shutoff actions for accounts that have escalated beyond the penalty phase.
    The system’s default robocall configuration applies uniformly to all delinquency stages, without allowing differentiation between penalty communications and shutoff communications.

  7. Memorized Report Parameters

    I need to run several reports at the end of every month, and it would sure be nice if we were able to "memorize" each report and have a dedicated folder for "User Reports" to save time at the end of each month. For those that use QuickBooks, I'm thinking something like how you can memorize reports in their program. What do you think?

  8. Deposit Register Sort Order

  9. IVR to Confirm Address

    We would like the IVR to confirm the customers address after entering their account numbers. Example: acct# 2356 for the IVR to say you are paying the bill for 123 Barndoor Rd. is this correct? We have customers paying the wrong accounts. all the time because they do not know the correct account number.

  11. meter report scheduled task

    i have to export the meter list report in order to update another piece of software manually. i'd like to set up a scehduled task for it, but it is not an option. honestly, all of our regular reporting should be able to be set to be a scheduled task.

  12. Report Criteria

    Please, please add the same limitation criteria for all reports within UB4, this is a very important tool for us that we cannot use for all of our reports. It would also be helpful to have date selections on all reports. Also, it would be helpful to have better sorting of report information too. If we sort by customer name, location number, etc. our reports are all over the place!

  13. Choose Estimated Read Date

    when estimating it would be nice to select your "read date" rather than it automatically be the date you estimated. We don't want to change all the read dates for the billing cycle, just the estimated ones. So i guess if there was a way to limit to estimated reads, in the mass date change, that would work too.

  14. Email notification on ALL payments made for accounts in shut off status.

    Our system is set up to send us email notifications when a payment is made on an account in shut off status.
    The system will ONLY generate an email if the payment takes the account out of shut off status.
    We have a payment threshold set that any account over $100 will be shut off monthly. For example, If the balance is $150, and the customer pays $51, they will be removed from the shut off list this month, but they will still be in shutoff status because the payment did not satisfy the system requirement.   15. Add "Device Note" to service order task page

    When crew is out in the field viewing work orders on a computer (iPad), and they pull up a work order, they are unable to see the "device note"/ meter location. It would be helpful if this was added to the viewing screen without having to select "print".

  17. Enhanced Portal Display/Reporting for Customer Service

    The issue is that customers on the cutoff list are not paying the full $30 fee ($15 for disconnection and $15 for reconnection). The current portal does not clearly display this information, making it difficult for customer service to verify payments accurately.

    When a customer pays only their past-due bill without including the required $30 fee, their service will not be reconnected, leading to their frustration. Our customer service team currently searches for these customers using a report that is limited and informs customers of the outstanding $30 fee, but this process is inefficient.   18. IVR Voice

    We would like to suggest having the ability to select an alternate voice for the IVR system. We find that a lot of our customer will not listen to a ROBO call. If we could have a voice that sounded like an actual person, they would be more apt to listen to the recorded message.

  19. Pop up box when you dont save while adding services

    We send both monthly and bi-monthly bills. When starting service on a TEMP account, if you do not click save after adding "details" in the location tab, UMS allows you to add a service but when saved, the rate code is missing. When this happens it defaults to the monthly rate which does not bill correctly for a bi-monthly bill.

    There needs to be some kind of pop-up box or something that does not allow you to add a service until the details in the location tab are saved.

  20. budget billing reconciliation automated report

    I would like the budget billing reconciliation report to have an automated option where it sends it to my email as a pdf on the first of each month. Other reports are able to be handled by the scheduled task, I'd like this to be included.
