  1. Hide disabled users in UMS security

    Our number of disabled (inactive) users now exceed our number of active users in UMS. Requesting the ability to hide disabled users in the setup > security screen (just like we can hide web users) so we can better manage our active users.

  2. Prorate both old and new rates for FINAL billing

    Currently, when producing a FINAL bill after a rate change, the system is set up to bill for a full period at the old rate and a prorated amount at the new rate. This results in overcharging. The system needs to be set so that both old and new rates are prorated after a rate change. This is a major flaw in the system.
    I AM ASKING ALL USERS TO PLEASE VOTE FOR THIS CHANGE. WITHOUT A MASSIVE RESPONSE TO THIS POST THE DEVELOPERS WILL NOT CONSIDER CORRECTING THIS FLAW

  4. schedule enable/disable scheduled ach

    Be able to schedule an enable or disable for scheduled ACH. Background: I'm going away and there will not be anyone to process them, so we don't want the customers to have access during that time.

    This error report is useless. We cannot research the errors and fix them before billing if we do not have an account number. The record number means nothing. We need more information on this report.

  6. Exclusions on Shut Off Notices

    Need ability to exclude customers that already have an active shut off notice when processing shut offs for a specific route instead of going into each account on the report to see they already have one still active.

    Allowing Merchant Services to pull ACH Draft like they already do for credit cards that are on auto draft. Instead of having to create a NACHA File. This would help with any human error and human interceptions.

  8. Balances stays with account number instead of address.

    It would save a lot of time if the balance would stay with the account numbers and not addresses. Right now we have a lot of landlords that has lots of addresses. They have a deposit that they can bounce to other addresses when needed. So we are having to click on each address that has been attached before to see if it has a balance or not. Would be alot easier if it would just stay to the account number that way when we type in the account number for that landlord it would pull up all the bills…

  10. autopay information - Bank draft

    2 different account numbers using the same bank account information. Wants to be able to edit 1 customers bank information without editing the other customers bank information.

    Basically what happened is that 1 customer, with 2 customer numbers using the same bank draft information get linked and when 1 changes it changes the other one. They want this to be separate so that it doesn't do that.

  11. Autopay Fixed Amount Improvements

    An autopay option that will allow a fixed amount, but would also allow the entire balance to be drafted if the bill is higher than the fixed amount.

    Our customer has her draft set up with a fixed amount of $75, but since it was less than the bill amount, it only drafted the $75.

    She likes to keep a credit on her account, and her balance is typically lower, but due to the lower temperatures we had in this billing period and the fuel adjustment cost, her bill was almost $200.

    I know that an autopay checkbox has been added in Statements, but it would be great to have a limit option or checkbox in the Customer Contact Wizard to be able to pinpoint those customers for communications.

  13. Report Criteria

    Please, please add the same limitation criteria for all reports within UB4, this is a very important tool for us that we cannot use for all of our reports. It would also be helpful to have date selections on all reports. Also, it would be helpful to have better sorting of report information too. If we sort by customer name, location number, etc. our reports are all over the place!

    It would be extremely helpful to see the financial status (past-due, shut off) in addition to the utility status when using customer search option. This would be most helpful for accounts that have multiple (20+) locations.

    We are having trouble getting people to sign up for text/SMS because it requires them to login to their account online and then change their preferences. It would be nice if we could send them like a link via email that they could click on to approve signing up for texts. Or a simple entry on our website, much like when you sign up to receive a coupon code on a retail website that you just enter your phone number and it sends you a text that you have to reply "Yes" to. The way it is setup just doesn't…

  16. Break Out Delinquencies in Communication Preferences

    Our organization currently utilizes the system’s Communication Preferences functionality to manage automated notifications related to customer delinquencies. At present, the system defaults all delinquency-related notifications to a single, unified communication preference setting, which is robocall. This creates challenges when we attempt to tailor communications based on the stage or severity of the delinquency.

    Current Process: We run penalties and send out corresponding penalty notices.
    Separately, we process shutoff actions for accounts that have escalated beyond the penalty phase.
    The system’s default robocall configuration applies uniformly to all delinquency stages, without allowing differentiation between penalty communications and shutoff communications.

  19. Automated E-Billing & Autopay Incentive Feature

    This proposal requests the development of a new, touchless software feature designed to automatically reward customers who enroll in both E-Billing (paperless) and Autopay.

    By creating a method for zero staff touchpoints we would be able to maximize the cost savings to our customers and provide a larger incentive (statement credit). That proivdes us the opportunity for boosting customer loyalty to our most efficient customers.

    The feaure would have 3 steps;
    1. Capture ebill (no paper) customers' company number, account number, and location number (the requirements of a mass add/mass adjustment),
