Email notification on ALL payments made for accounts in shut off status.
Our system is set up to send us email notifications when a payment is made on an account in shut off status.
The system will ONLY generate an email if the payment takes the account out of shut off status.
We have a payment threshold set that any account over $100 will be shut off monthly. For example, If the balance is $150, and the customer pays $51, they will be removed from the shut off list this month, but they will still be in shutoff status because the payment did not satisfy the system requirement. Add date created/ tran date to financial reporting to reconcile numbers across reports
When running reporting in UMS, it is difficult to match numbers. We found that the transaction list runs off of transaction date but the customer payment history report uses both. We would like the option to use date created and tran date on ALL financial reporting. The most important report at this time would be the transaction list.

Add "Device Note" to service order task page
When crew is out in the field viewing work orders on a computer (iPad), and they pull up a work order, they are unable to see the "device note"/ meter location. It would be helpful if this was added to the viewing screen without having to select "print".

Mass Add Misc Transactions through Grid View
The Mass Add Documents, Notes, and Contacts feature utilizes a grid view to facilitate the entry of applicable accounts.
We request the implementation of a similar grid view for entering accounts to add miscellaneous transactions in bulk. The current functionality of the mass add miscellaneous transactions feature does not meet our requirements. Please refer to the attached screenshot for further reference. Automatic Notification for Landlord Reversion
Would love a way to send landlords a notification automatically when a location goes back into their name. Some landlords are set up for landlord reversion, so they want to know the date it happens before they get their first bill.

Backflow Test Result Control Panel
Would like the ability to import a spreadsheet to the backflow test result control panel. We receive numerous tests daily and would like to put them into a spreadsheet and upload it daily vs. entering every backflow test through the control panel.

Please reinstate the ability to view 2nd Party Notifications under the Billing process
During the Suspension notice process (under Billing>Create Delinquency) we used to see the 2nd Party Notifications that were generated for Contacts with that Communication Preference checked when selecting "Preview Unposted Notice." But now, they can only be viewed by closing that box and going to Reporting >Notices > Shut Off Notice. Once I verify that they 2nd Party Notification notices look okay, I have to close that box and go back and re-populate the Create Delinquency box to go on to Post the notices. Expiration Date for Disallow Payment Methods
An expiration date is needed to disallow payment methods. There is no mass way to reset or mass clear disallowed payment methods. Many utilities want these to expire after 12 months.

Mass Add via Spreadsheet
The much-vaunted mass-add wizard is now over a year old, and is essentially useless. The data entry is clunky, you have to click multiple times to complete each line, it's barely faster than one-at-a-time entry. The ability to provide a .csv or other spreadsheet listing the information would make this actually good, enabling tab stops so you don't have to stop and click with the mouse in between each cell would at least make it usable.

Lock Penalties to Billing Dates
Our Billing process requires that we date bills for specific dates, so if those dates are on a weekend we process the bills on the following work day. The problem we run in to is that this happens infrequently enough that we occasionally have someone forget to change the date when setting up the late fees. It would be helpful if we could have a full billing process where we set the date at the beginning and it will persist through the rest of the process instead of resetting to today's date at each step (generate late fees, post, generate…

Automatically Revert Rate Codes on Move Out/Move In

Revise Consumption DTL Report
It would be nice if the layout of the Consumption History DTL report printed from the Usage tab in UMS could be revised. The report reflects a column labeled "Charges," but the Usage tab in UMS breaks the charges down into "Minimum" and "Total Charge" (which really Total Charge is not the total charge, you have to add those two columns together to get the total charge. The Total Charge column is really the usage charge after the minimum.). It would be nice if the report reflected these two columns individually like the Usage tab does (Minimum and Consumption after…

all batches should automatically close upon posting closeout for the day
You have to go in and select batches and manually close. When you are in the closeout posting for the daily balancing, and you post transactions, it should close ALL batches within that date range that you have indicated. The fact that you have to post transactions and it closes checks and cash, but not Vanco or credit cards is goofy. It should close all batches.

More information or custom information on error reports
Being able to see what customer or location numbers that the meter numbers or other information given (depending on what you're doing) are tied to when an error report is produced would make executing resolutions much more efficient. The current workflow has us stopping to look up meter numbers to determine what account each error is on before being able to resolve the error. Custom error report information, or just more identifiable information would be extremely helpful.

Notifications when payments are made on lien accounts
UMS Users would like to receive notifications when payments are made on lien accounts; similar to when payments are made shutoff accounts.

Add payment to mobile application.
It would be very helpful to show if a members account is paid or not on the mobile application our field crews use. This would be efficient during the times the offices are closed, including weekends, when a member is locked out and they make a payment after hours. Currently, we cannot see the status of an account only their name, address, location number, and phone number(s).
