usage variance
Be able to set usage variance by percent from last year AND over # of specified gallons.
EX: Customer A used 4K in March 2023.
We are now billing March 2024 and would want to flag if the use is 75% more than March 2023, but only if it is over 1,000 gallons total.

contact information "as of" field
In the phone number field area and the email field area for customers as well as contacts, it would be nice to have an "as of" field where we can log the date the contact information was last updated.

Customer Contact Wizard; Sort Order
We would like to see the option for sort order for the emergency contact list under the customer contact wizard work for customer contact instead of sorting by headers. That block in the window is for the Emergency Contact List, which is separate from the Customer Contact Wizard functionality.

Manage Broadcasts
Please consider adding a Date/Time column to the main menu for Manage Broadcasts. You can currently only see the date by looking inside of each broadcast details. It would be easier find campaigns if the dates were in main window, and not just in the details window. It takes extra time to see dig through and find specific items when reviewing broadcast results.

Bankruptcy Delinquency Type and Process
Delinquency bankruptcy is needed. Ideally, the process mimics bad debt write-offs, but for current customers. There is no clean way to write off the balance and have it reflect as bankruptcy. It is understood that Lien Processes could accommodate, but there is a significant difference between the management of bankruptcy and lien processes.

Location Field for Service Line Material
Several Utilities have to report on the service line material for DEQ. Typically, this is referred to as Copper and Lead reporting, however there can be PVC or Galvanized, etc. We would like a field added on the location tab under details for Service Line Material. I also would like this added to code filters for reporting purposes. Currently, we have to report on the Customer Line and the Utility Line, it would be nice to have a field for each. This field also needs to be added to the mass meter changeout program to populate this for service lines…

Do not allow NULL searches
When searching in UMS do not allow space + search or blank + search. If this is allowed provide a warning box that you are about to search for Active Company. Also, disallowing this mirrors the UB4 behavior.

Disallow Payment Methods
The IVR should honor and disallow payment methods. End users know how to extend shut-off periods, knowing that the IVR allows all payment methods.

On the account control panel under location, it would be helpful if you could add a from and to date column for each owner or tenant

Detailed email history from using Customer Contact Wizard
The emails that are sent through Customer Contact Wizard currently only show customer name / account number / date email was sent / and subject of email through the report. There is no history of communication on the user's account. I think there should be detailed email history available so it includes email body and/or the ability to cc the utility admin on all correspondences through customer contact wizard. In addition, being able to view every communication through the user's account (control panel).

universal sorting features
So, I guess the better option would be if I can sort it this way here, I want to be able to sort it that way anywhere.
It seems to be a common theme in a few threads. "Limit to" should be universal to all reports. "Sort by" should also be universal to all reports.
I can do a whole diatribe on mining data, but the nutshell is that we shoudl be able to pull and sort all of our data any way we like because we all have different needs and new things come up that deter our ability…

rate code grouping
We have many rate codes that go to either water or to sewer. When running reports like an AR or aged, or open balance it would be nice to have a feature in the code filters that allows us to select all of the rate codes in a service group. This way instead of me individually selecting 15 water service rate codes to get a report for water I would select something that automatically picks the water rate codes and none of the sewer rate codes.

CWP from UMS account
How cool would it be if we are working with a customer in UMS and we could click a button that opens up their location on the CWP.
And similarly, a button on the CWP when in CSR view that opens up the corresponding location in UMS.

View Communication Results for E-bills
After sending e-bills, a View Communication Results box pops up with an option to show all, show errors or don't show. If you click on either option, that UMS generated report disappears forever. It would be nice to be able to view errors if there are any and then view all accounts that bills were emailed to.
