  1. Including an Unposted Payments Field when Billing

    When you calculate and assess late fee penalties, there is a field to click to include unposted payments. It would be helpful if that was also an option when calculating billing since the timing of posting can affect amount that is shown on a bill and make it confusing for customers and users.

  2. Create a .msi installer so it's easier for Intune Deployments.

    Currently there is only a .exe installer. It would be nice to have a .msi installer so we could use it for things like Intune deployments. You can use .exe with Intune but .msi setups are much easier for that.

  3. Add Account Status Filter/Sort to Delinquency Register Report

    During the 2025 User Group, feedback was provided that while UMS currently allows filtering by Account Status (Custom Account Status from Setup >> Account Status) on the Create Delinquency screen, this option is not available on the Delinquency Register Report. Utilities, including Northshore, rely on the Account Status flag during delinquency processes. Adding the ability to filter or sort by Account Status on the Delinquency Register would allow users to:

    Quickly identify which accounts require delinquency actions.
    Make the process more granular and streamlined.
    Improve operational efficiency by aligning reporting with existing delinquency workflows.

  4. Replace Existing Contacts in Mass Add Documents, Notes, Contacts Addin

    We would like the ability to replace existing contacts in the Mass Add Contacts Addin. When we add a contact currently, it adds another one rather than replacing if one already exists. For example, if we had an agent but the agent needs to change, rather than replacing it with the new data, it adds a new one so each one needs to be deleted manually.

  5. Make IVR payments labeled as made through IVR system, not as Online Credit Card payments

    IVR payments should be noted as being made through IVR system on customer's transaction history instead of labeled as online credit card payments made through guestpay so if there is an issue with a payment, you can differentiate how payment was made.

  7. Memorized Report Parameters

    I need to run several reports at the end of every month, and it would sure be nice if we were able to "memorize" each report and have a dedicated folder for "User Reports" to save time at the end of each month. For those that use QuickBooks, I'm thinking something like how you can memorize reports in their program. What do you think?

  10. Mass Change of Rate Codes for Service Dialog

    1) Don't reset the form each time a change is processed. The Service details section of this dialog resets with any change to the Limit details or Code filters sections. This isn't helpful when changing multiple rate codes.
    2) Order the New rate code drop down list alphabetically by rate code to make it easier to locate the new rate code. With over 200 rate codes, it's challenging to find the one needed when the list isn't in any particular order.

  11. Apply Taxes Based on Taxing Authority and Rate Code - Not Just Rate Code

    We currently have 6 different taxing authorities which requires us to maintain 7 different sets of rate codes. This means we have well over 200 rate codes. If taxes could be applied based on the combination of taxing authority and rate codes, we would only need to deal with 30-40 rate codes.

  12. Email notification on ALL payments made for accounts in shut off status.

    Our system is set up to send us email notifications when a payment is made on an account in shut off status.
    The system will ONLY generate an email if the payment takes the account out of shut off status.
    We have a payment threshold set that any account over $100 will be shut off monthly. For example, If the balance is $150, and the customer pays $51, they will be removed from the shut off list this month, but they will still be in shutoff status because the payment did not satisfy the system requirement.   13. Add date created/ tran date to financial reporting to reconcile numbers across reports

    When running reporting in UMS, it is difficult to match numbers. We found that the transaction list runs off of transaction date but the customer payment history report uses both. We would like the option to use date created and tran date on ALL financial reporting. The most important report at this time would be the transaction list.

  14. Add "Device Note" to service order task page

    When crew is out in the field viewing work orders on a computer (iPad), and they pull up a work order, they are unable to see the "device note"/ meter location. It would be helpful if this was added to the viewing screen without having to select "print".

  16. Mass Add Misc Transactions through Grid View

    The Mass Add Documents, Notes, and Contacts feature utilizes a grid view to facilitate the entry of applicable accounts.

    We request the implementation of a similar grid view for entering accounts to add miscellaneous transactions in bulk. The current functionality of the mass add miscellaneous transactions feature does not meet our requirements. Please refer to the attached screenshot for further reference.   19. Please reinstate the ability to view 2nd Party Notifications under the Billing process

    During the Suspension notice process (under Billing>Create Delinquency) we used to see the 2nd Party Notifications that were generated for Contacts with that Communication Preference checked when selecting "Preview Unposted Notice." But now, they can only be viewed by closing that box and going to Reporting >Notices > Shut Off Notice. Once I verify that they 2nd Party Notification notices look okay, I have to close that box and go back and re-populate the Create Delinquency box to go on to Post the notices.   20. Expiration Date for Disallow Payment Methods

    An expiration date is needed to disallow payment methods. There is no mass way to reset or mass clear disallowed payment methods. Many utilities want these to expire after 12 months.
