    It would be helpful to show a running total of how much is owed for each month of the payment agreement. And if a customer pays partial, how much is left to pay.

  2. 2023 User Summit-Refund with no credit balance

    This is what she wants: “I wanted to be able to cut a check to them if they did not have a credit balance and did not mean to pay. “ According to Matt, just doing a transaction reversal won’t allow you to do that. There are a number of transactions that have to happen, which is ludicrous, to be able to cut a check back to a customer. If you could AT LEAST get that process for me from them, they can use that in the interim until they find a better way to do that.

  3. 2023 User Summit-Limit dates on expiring credit cards

    1. Limit dates on expiring credit cards:

    I started it running with these parameters. It took 3 minutes to run and returned the first screen below here:(pic 1)

    You can see the first line expired in October 2021, the others in 2022. There are 84 entries, of which only 16 expire in November 2023. To unselect one requires 2 clicks on the check box; one to select the box, another to uncheck it. It would be great if the report only returned the ones that actually expire in November 2023 and ignore the prior months.(PIC 2)

  4. 2023 User Summit-Code Filters

    1. As for the code filters the only thing I was mentioning as of now is that in Code filters on the Services and Rates tab, you can only Add services and rates. You can't Include or Exclude like you can on other tabs for Customer and Locations.

  5. 2023 User Summit-Security Overhaul

    1. Currently in setting up security roles there is a large majority of UMS that can be delegated as far as being able to view vs edit vs delete and such. But currently there are a VAST amount of small functions that only the role of an Administrator has the ability to manipulate, even if the function is only to view a certain section of the control panel. I would love to have some of these small functions but able to be delegated in security roles. Ill give an example. On a customer account if you want a CSR to be…

  6. 2023 User Summit-Performance Issues With Move Outs On Large Accounts

    We are trying to use a feature in UMS for a customer having multiple Locations. In this case, it is a home builder. Normally this feature works fine but with this home builder account it currently has 437 locations attached to 1 customer account. When moving out a location from the home builder account it takes minutes for the process to complete. And because of how large the builder is its never just 1 move out. It’s a list that gets given to us every month so possibly scoping a move out wizard that can move out multiple locations tied…

  7. 2023 User Summit-Duplicate Robo Calls

    We would like a separate way to send notifications. IVR calls are occurring from the Penalty Report and they give no visual indicator to the end user that a RoboCall is going out. It would be much better if there were a Send Notification, Export, and an IVR/SMS button (or a company option) so the end user could control the communication. Or at the least an indicator of some type letting the user know a RoboCall went out.

  8. Being able to print a zip code total after printing delinquency notices

    After we print delinquency notices we have to go through and manually count each notice to get the total amount of zip codes that are being sent out to be presorted for the post office.

  9. Reporting Shut Offs by assignment date?

    Is it possible to generate a list of customers who’s Account status on the Customer tab on the Account Control Panel is defined as “Shut off.” Additionally, if this report can be generated, can it tell us when the status was changed? The “Date Status Assigned” appears to the right of the dropdown box pertaining to Account status but I was wondering if this could be reproduced in the report I’m looking for.

  10. Sort shutoff service orders by route

    We do all our shutoffs in one day so we need to print service orders for the entire company but it doesn't give us an option to sort by route which would be much more helpful and efficient. We'd like to be able to sort by route when in the create service orders screen during the shutoff delinquency process

  11. Consumption Charges Based on Meter Usage, Not Total Account Usage

    Consumption allowances need to be associated with the meters and not the total usage on the account. If an account has a consumption allowance of 3,000 g, but has 2 meters, it should not now have an overall allowance of 6,000 g. Consumption charges should apply to any usage at each meter that exceeds 3,000 g.

  12. Community Revenue Class Limitations.

  13. Allow line breaks in message communications

    When composing an email, allow line breaks between the message's paragraphs, like they appear when sending out messages through the Customer Contact Wizard. As it is right now, no matter how you format the message, it is delivered as one paragraph. See attached example.

  15. add note with attachment to all accounts in a misc. fee batch

    When processing shut offs under the Utility Services Tenants Rights Act it is necessary to keep good records. The inability to save a PDF of a complete report attached to the account notes in mass is debilitating.

    Example: the certified letters are not recorded as such because they don't run out of UMS as certified letters. We have to sticker and scan those.

    I would like to be able to attach that PDF record of scanned letters and envelopes (confirmation of delivery by court standards) to the accounts. Right now that has to be one 1 location at a time.

  16. create delinquency - export button next to process button

    The "Create Delinquency" window doesn't have an explicit 'Export' button, The only option is to first preview/process the report, then export from there, but that creates an odd "crystal reports" csv file rather than a standard csv file.

    it would be really helpful to be able to export directly to a standard csv file.

    Review Calculations – To add the feature to change the Read End Date and Transaction Date from the review calculations tab. Currently the Calculation Action must be selected first to update the Review Calculations with the Read End and Transaction Date.

  18. Payment Station - Batch Total

    To remove the total cash on hand from the payment station for the cashiers. Currently if the feature is removed the cashiers won’t have rights to create their batch. The cashiers should not have access to their batch total due to the risk of fraud.

  20. Calculate Bills

    Calculate – Bill Process – Allow for a drop-down option or field where we can calculate multiple accounts at a time. Currently for loose bills we can only calculate one account at a time; so being able to have the option to enter multiple accounts, would make the calculation process for loss bills much easier and less time consuming. As seen in the example below, we can manually enter the accounts we want to bill or calculate.
