  1. Credit Card Failures

    We would like to see emails automatically sent to customers who's reoccurring credit card payments fail stating the same error we receive on the error report

    Recurring credit card payment notifications are automatically sent to the customer (whether successful or unsuccessful) based on what Communication Preferences the customer has selected on the 'Autopay Notices' preference.

  2. Mass Add Wizard

    If a Property Manager manages multiple properties, currently, we are having to add the contact to each account with any corresponding notes, attachments, misc fees, etc. For example, if the Property Manager managed 90 accounts, owned by different owners, it would be helpful to have some sort of Wizard Mass add function with the ability to add the accounts we would like to update and have the option of adding any of the listed items at the same time.   3. Filter Options For Miscellaneous Rates

    Referring to Ticket 89901 (images available)

    When filtering reports or any limit option by rate codes, Miscellaneous does not have the ability to choose the rates we have added to our system, instead it gives a generic "MISC or "MISCM". It would be helpful to pull reports with the ability to differentiate the different types of Misc rates rather than having to spend the time to filter the file each time we pull a report. It will be extremely helpful also when posting transactions.

  4. Lock on Location

    When a meter is locked, but the service is still active, we would like for that to be notated with a locking symbol (or something similar) on the location. Maybe a box near the rental box on the location details tab that would make the lock appear? Example of what we are looking for is attached!

  5. Include the "Use Minimum" and "Use Allowance" boxes during changeout process

    During the meter/register change out process, have the "Use Allowance" and "Use Minimum" from the Utilization tab to avoid the double charge to the customer.

    Upon research with the implementation manager, this really is a non-issue as long as the outgoing meter is marked as 'changed out' and not just 'removed' when doing the change out process.  If the meter is just 'removed' and another meter installed, the account will charge two minimums after the 'removal' where as a 'changed out' meter will ignore the 'Use Minimum' and 'Use Allowance' checkboxes.

  6. Customer address changes

    Can you add "Current Occupant" to the contacts to include when running Location Contact list? I need to send information to the location address, doesn't matter who's occupying the residence.

  7. Be able to change default on Customer

    Instead of the default being only Account number, be able to change the default to whatever you need. Like we dont look up by parcel or account numbers we do it by address.

  8. discount for ebill and or draft customers

    We would like to incentivize autopay and e-bill by the option of one time or per-billing cycle discount (or credit).

    This functionality already exists (rebates) within the UMS software that should accommodate your request.  Please feel free to reach out to our technical support group for assistance in setting that up.

  9. Printed/Saved Service Orders - Transmitter Numbers Showing as Meter Numbers

    Currently, there is a line on the service order that describes the meter info + transmitter number as well as an additional line that relists the transmitter number but shows it as meter number and the transmitter number. This duplicate information and confusing. We would love to see it go back to only one line item listing both the meter and transmitter OR it being listed in a more clear manner.

    CUSI set up a custom service order form to suppress the transmitter information when printing.  This work item is considered complete since there are no other votes on this request.

  11. Customer screen - add a preview button

    We need to have a preview tab/button. If during billing or a customer calls with a reading cause they had a leak and wanted to know what the bill is at the moment. It could give us the gallons used & also a preview of the dollar amount.

    Already a feature.  Showed the customer how to enter a read and calculate a test bill, then delete out the old bill and readings after generating.  Also showed her the 'Test This Rate' option.

  12. UMS Client Display Resolution Scaling

    We would like to see a change implemented in the UMS client to prevent the need for manual PC changes for each user with a High DPI monitor.

    There is a workaround for the UMS Client not rendering properly when the user’s scaling is set to a high number. We have a user with a 1440p monitor and scaling at 250%.   13. Service Orders: Automatically select the Meter

    Creating based on User Conference feedback:

    When creating a service order, and the location has a meter associated with it, we would like to see the Meter automatically selected instead of having to manually do it on every service order. As part of our business process, we always select the meter on every service order. It would save time and generate efficiency.

  14. Payment Arrangement Report

    In UMS a report is needed to show the arrangement balance per account. The report should have the following data elements:

    Account No
    Location No
    Account Name
    Location Address
    Arrangement Number
    Arrangement Status
    Arrangement Frequency
    Arrangement Starting Amount
    Arrangement Current Balance Due (if any)
    Arrangement "Pay Off" Balance

    When running the report, you should have options to limit to all arrangments, unpaid arrangments, and broken arrangments.

  16. Payment Received Notification

    Especially in the case of shut offs that are a promise to pay, it would be super helpful if UMS had a message pop up or an email go out to staff that a payment was posted to that account. Maybe by customer code that we turn on manually for a customer we want to watch for payments on. This would be helpful for when our team is out for shut off and someone comes out and says wait I'll go online and pay right now and the team moves on to save them for last. If we got a…

    This is currently an option in Setup > Company > Communication Options > Notify Users When Shutoff Account Becomes Current.  Please reach out to us if you need help setting this up or have any questions.

  17. Notes Tab

    In the note section it would be nice to be able to see any emails that are sent from UMS to the customers. Whether it be a notifications like delinquencies and shut offs. We are only able to see the statements that are emailed out.

    As previously mentioned, these email notifications (Statements/Delinquencies/Shutoffs) are now present in the customer's "Email History" view under the History Tab as of UMS version 6.8+. These email notifications will show for any customer that has been sent these emails through UMS processes. In order for a customer to receive these emails, they need a valid email on the account, as well as the email communication preference for Delinquencies.

  18. Expired Credit Card Report

    I am reaching out about the expired credit card report that we pull monthly. Is there a way to only pull the expiration month and year for what we are looking for? I know there is an option to deselect customers when running the report before sending them a reminder email. It would be easier if we could put in a date range we are wanting to run.

    As an example –
    We processed January’s expiring credit card report. When the report was generated there were 249 customers listed on the report, only 38 were for January 2023 expiring credit…

  20. Consumption History Top 10 Users

    National User Conference Request: Need the ability to run the Consumption History report and pull the top 10 users for the period. This should be the overall top 10 users (sum of the time period) and not per billing.
