  1. 2023 User Summit-Duplicate Robo Calls

    We would like a separate way to send notifications. IVR calls are occurring from the Penalty Report and they give no visual indicator to the end user that a RoboCall is going out. It would be much better if there were a Send Notification, Export, and an IVR/SMS button (or a company option) so the end user could control the communication. Or at the least an indicator of some type letting the user know a RoboCall went out.

  2. Ability to remove, delete Customer after defined period

    I would like the ability to individually select customers to remove/ delete after a defined period of inactivity that I specify such as 5 years, 10 years, etc. It would not affect Location notes, data, items specific to location, would not affect meter changes/ data but would delete that specific customer's financial history, customer and account notes specific to that customer and/ or period of time selected. It would also make their customer number now available for use.

  3. NOTE FIELDS

    In the NOTES Area in UMS we would love to be able to change defaults and to inactivate fields. Examp: Under "Note Used For" Has several choices and would love to be able to create our own drop down menu for things that are important for our company which is JUST WATER. Just having the ability to customize it more would be great.

  6. Consumption Charges Based on Meter Usage, Not Total Account Usage

    Consumption allowances need to be associated with the meters and not the total usage on the account. If an account has a consumption allowance of 3,000 g, but has 2 meters, it should not now have an overall allowance of 6,000 g. Consumption charges should apply to any usage at each meter that exceeds 3,000 g.

  7. Remove old deposits from the Account Control Panel that have been refunded/consumed

    Instead of showing all deposits, have an option to only show deposits that have an amount holding and have the option to show old deposits (maybe something similar to showing removed devices).

  8. Enrollment in AutoPayment via the IVR

    We would like to have the ability for our customers to enroll in Auto Payment via credit card or ACH via IVR Tech and for this to be part of the normal voice script whenever someone makes a one-time payment via the IVR. This to me would reduce late payments and the expense surrounding them.

  9. let it start numbering new accounts at a number set by the user not by the highest numbered account

    Have UMS start numbering new accounts at a number set by the user not by the highest numbered account. We have our regular customer accounts starting with 1353001 and going up. We'd like to set this as the "next account # to use" and then let the system count up from there.

  11. create delinquency - export button next to process button

    The "Create Delinquency" window doesn't have an explicit 'Export' button, The only option is to first preview/process the report, then export from there, but that creates an odd "crystal reports" csv file rather than a standard csv file.

    it would be really helpful to be able to export directly to a standard csv file.

  12. Payment Wizard - Manual Entry

    When using Manual Entry to enter the large amount of checks we receive (anywhere from 50- 150 some days), it would save time if the program would automatically load the endorsements to the printer when you click "process" rather than having to go back and individually click "endorse check" next to each entry.

  13. Prevent Duplicate Electronic Payments on CWP

    We have had so many customers call us to say that they accidently paid twice by credit card. To limit duplicate payments of the same amount in the payment portal, without disabling the ability of those owners who do pay bills online for multiple properties that are billed on a flat rate basis, I am requesting that the UMS portal does one of two things (or both).
    1. Rather than connect the payment to the Customer Number when it is being paid, connect it to the Location Number. Then we could switch the "don't allow duplicate payment" button, without prohibiting…

  14. 2023 User Summit-Refund with no credit balance

    This is what she wants: “I wanted to be able to cut a check to them if they did not have a credit balance and did not mean to pay. “ According to Matt, just doing a transaction reversal won’t allow you to do that. There are a number of transactions that have to happen, which is ludicrous, to be able to cut a check back to a customer. If you could AT LEAST get that process for me from them, they can use that in the interim until they find a better way to do that.

  15. 2023 User Summit-Performance Issues With Move Outs On Large Accounts

    We are trying to use a feature in UMS for a customer having multiple Locations. In this case, it is a home builder. Normally this feature works fine but with this home builder account it currently has 437 locations attached to 1 customer account. When moving out a location from the home builder account it takes minutes for the process to complete. And because of how large the builder is its never just 1 move out. It’s a list that gets given to us every month so possibly scoping a move out wizard that can move out multiple locations tied…

    When on customer screen and going to landlord tab that needs to be blocked out to where it cant be changed.....etc like address phone number its so easy to change that information when we think we are on customers information.

  19. add note with attachment to all accounts in a misc. fee batch

    When processing shut offs under the Utility Services Tenants Rights Act it is necessary to keep good records. The inability to save a PDF of a complete report attached to the account notes in mass is debilitating.

    Example: the certified letters are not recorded as such because they don't run out of UMS as certified letters. We have to sticker and scan those.

    I would like to be able to attach that PDF record of scanned letters and envelopes (confirmation of delivery by court standards) to the accounts. Right now that has to be one 1 location at a time.

  20. Review Calculations

    Review Calculations – To add the feature to change the Read End Date and Transaction Date from the review calculations tab. Currently the Calculation Action must be selected first to update the Review Calculations with the Read End and Transaction Date.
