One week email notification prior to ACH Autopay Transactions
We have customers - property managers in particular - who would like to receive an email notification prior to ACH autopayment transactions being applied. Many utilities with autopay features do provide an email notification a week prior to the transaction being applied. This helps our customers to ensure funds are available and prevent declines/fees.

Multi Fixed Item List Report; Limiting
We want to be able to limit to the specific Multi Fixed Item Code when running the MFI list report. I need to be able to run this report for one or two MFI items and not all of them.

character and space count totals
Since the bill form tends to have limited space for a company, location, and/or customer note, it would be nice if those screens included a total entered character and space count on it so we can see what number we are up to while we are working rather than hopping back and forth between UMS and Word or Notepad++ to tally up characters and spaces.

Batch Management Screen shows 0.00 dollars and makes users take extra steps to find correct batch to close
The "Batch Management" screen shows 0.00 in the Total column. When a user is trying to select their batches to close they need to click on many for that day to find the right one by total. Why have a Total column if it is always 0.00? To us, it makes our job more time consuming and makes 0.00 sense. Could you please put the batch Actual Total in that column?

CUSTOMER CONTACT LIST
Please improve the customer contact list so that the location number is included. The contact wizard requires the imported file to be formatted using the account number AND the location number. The customer contact list with tenants checked is the only way to pull a report with the email addresses for the tenants but without the location number included, it's useless in the customer contact wizard.

Customer Contact Wizard for Location Contacts
It would be extremely helpful if the Customer Contact Wizard could pull the contact information for tenants listed under "Location Contacts" so that when we want to send a message to all customers, owners & tenants, we can use this tool. As it is now, it is useless to us.

Show Test this Rate at the account level or see an option for a breakdown of a charge at the tier level.
CSRs would like to be able to test this rate at the account level.

use adjustment
the adjustment report doesn't show usage adjustments, only dollar values. if we adjust dollars and gallons it would be beneficial to see both on the posting totals report

open balance over dollar value
cbsw used to allow us to run an open balance report for accounts over a certain dollar value. i don't see the option anymore so i have to export it and then sort it. too many steps

batch bill correction
presently there's not way to correct a whole bill file batch all at once. ums should be able to do that and also to include a statement account note to print on the new bill. the new bill should have the revised bill date and revised bill due date on it as well.

Copy of shut off notices as issued in the account notes when you post them to the account. should be able to customize the reference box in the transaction history too

contract payoff
more accessible contract payoff balance for a location. right now drilling down is by service and multiple clicks per service. any amortization schedule should include the location's current status on the schedule

owner as contact
an owner in the owner tab with contact preferences set should trigger copies of bills and notices as listed.
Or at least a one button activation of the owner's information into the Contacts tab.

payment arrangement draft
It would help us if there was a payment arrangement draft mode where we can put the arrangement on the account in an inactive status, send out the paperwork to the customer (sometimes it is more than one party) and then after the agreement documents are signed, then activate the arrangement on the account. This way there isn't an active arrangement on the account while we are waiting for documents during which time a bill could post.
