  2. Exception Reports

    Inclusion for the account and utility status in all billing exception reports. Including the account and utility status in the exception reports will assist in the scrutinizing process to easily identify disconnected and waiting accounts. As seen in the image below, the account status is included in the exception report.

    To update the Enter Read with the account and utility status. This will allow us to clearly identify the status of the account, whether it is current or shut-off; and will minimize the scrutinizing process. As seen in the image below, the account status is updated in Enter Read.

  6. Usage Notifications -Daily Meter Reads (AMI Customers)

    For customers using AMI with the ability to utilize UMS/UB4 daily meter reads. The following notifications via email, text, sms are needed.

    Daily Usage Alerts (Alert when a meter us using more than a given amount in a day) with a user-defined “Alert me when usage exceeds the amount.”

    Multi-Day Alert (Monitor meter usage over 7 days) with a user-defined “Alert me when usage exceeds.”

    Billy Cycle Usage Alert (monitor 30-day usage) with a user-defined “Alert me when usage exceeds.”

    Customers need the ability to set these alerts from CWP, but they should also be part of UMS/UB4 communication preferences.

  7. Payment Arrangement Report

    In UMS a report is needed to show the arrangement balance per account. The report should have the following data elements:

    Account No
    Location No
    Account Name
    Location Address
    Arrangement Number
    Arrangement Status
    Arrangement Frequency
    Arrangement Starting Amount
    Arrangement Current Balance Due (if any)
    Arrangement "Pay Off" Balance

    When running the report, you should have options to limit to all arrangments, unpaid arrangments, and broken arrangments.

  10. Rework Disallowed Payment Methods

    We have a customer we would like to disallow online credit card and online check payments for. However, after check marking those methods in the attached screen, the customers is still able to make payments using those payment methods online. It does not keep the customer from being able to make their payment. It only leaves the payment "stuck in Gateway." And then our office either has to refund or import the payment and notify the customer. If the customer attempts to make a disallowed payment, they should receive an error message stating so, and to contact our office.

  13. Expired Credit Card Report

    I am reaching out about the expired credit card report that we pull monthly. Is there a way to only pull the expiration month and year for what we are looking for? I know there is an option to deselect customers when running the report before sending them a reminder email. It would be easier if we could put in a date range we are wanting to run.

    As an example –
    We processed January’s expiring credit card report. When the report was generated there were 249 customers listed on the report, only 38 were for January 2023 expiring credit…

  14. Shutoff Process notice description

    An enhancement to the shutoff process to allow users to edit/insert a "reason" or "notice type" description that can be displayed on the Account History tab. We have multiple types of notices but they all show as the same one in the history.

  15. Miscellaneous Statement for Specific Transaction Type

    Please allow for the mass creation of Miscellaneous Statements limited to a specific transaction type or code.

    For example, we add a Reconnect Fee after a customer has been disconnected and then service restored and that fee is due in the future. Currently, I have to run the Miscellaneous Statement process in each individual account to apply the Due Date so it does not potentially get captured in other processes that have a Due Date added.

    If I could filter by code, that would be much more efficient!

  16. Charge date in payment detail

    In the payment detail, show what charge date the payment is being applied to. In the detail below, $12 and $37 were applied, a field showing that they are for the 4/12 (or 3/10 or 2/12, whatever) charge would be great.

  17. Rate Code, Meter Size variance - Include on Error Report

    If there is a variance between the rate code and the meter size, would like this information to be included on the error report once monthly charges are calculated. We came across input errors by accident - this caused loss of revenue, in some cases, for 6+ months.

  18. Expired Recurring Credit Cards: AutoPay Filter

    When using the Expired Recurring Credit cards feature, it would be useful to have a filtering option to filter to Auto-Pay expired cards verses all wallet items that a web user has saved when generating the report to send notifications to customers.

  19. Missing/Inactive Services

    Allow the missing service list to include inactive services, not just missing. We bill gas and I would like to run a report to find if any customers that did not get a fuel charge with the gas charge.

  20. Adding a next work order button

    Adding an advance forward or previous work order button to the edit service order page. When you click on a service order to view it, you might have considered a different work order; instead of going back to the main page, the back or forward arrow will allow seeing the subsequent service order. This will benefit the field crew or workers as well.
